If You Need to Get More Organized and Have Less Stress, Get a Planner

Loves, I have to admit, as a crazy type A who lives on a packed schedule and most of the time has an endless to do list, I am sooooo into planners, check marks a scratching off completed tasks!

I have to be, because of my job and all the related and unrelated businesses that I am managing. But I also love having things organized in a visually structured way. Having a clear blueprint of what you need to to during your day takes off a lot of the pressure and stress. Plus, compiling a to do list and keeping your calendar up to date is one accomplished task already!

My planner or planners I should say, have a very special pace in my heart. I have a few — one that I carry in my purse, one that is in my office at home, and a notepad or notebook that I keep close to where I am hanging out at the moment — kitchen if I am cooking, living room if I am sitting down, or just anywhere.


The process of selecting my planners is also quite special to me. They have to be a specific color, have a specific layout and most importantly — have a warm, cozy, glamorous and “winning” feel to them. They just have to feel like “me” and give me a sense of comfort rather than stress.

#GlamWorkout TIP: I also MAKE SURE to incorporate fun activities and time for rest and self care. This is paramount for having motivation, stamina and excitement to move forward.
