My Secret Technique: How To Maintain Positivity And Reject Negative Thoughts

Needless to say that I know that remaining positive at all times and all circumstances could be challenging. BUT it is possible to achieve and once you are on the good side, you’ll never want to go back!

I came to the realization that being positive is a choice, and that was life changing for me. I am in a very happy place in my life at the moment, and want to help YOU get there too.

That is why I am sharing the secret technique that I first came up with when I was a kid. I have been perfecting it ever since. I don’t remember how exactly I came up with it, but I clearly remember the first few times when I used it. I’ve been using it ever since, simply because IT WORKS!

So here is my technique, I’m calling it “My Flip The Switch Technique” — it is very simple yet very effective:


My Flip The Switch Technique: 

Step 1. When a negative thought crosses your mind, remember that it’s just a thought and it can go away as easily as it came around.

Step 2: When that happens, simply imagine it dissolving in the air and disappearing in the distance as it was sucked by a vacuum cleaner.

Step 3: Now imagine you are flipping a lights switch up to “on” and into the light, and forgetting every negative “off” thought, event or experience you want to leave behind. Flip the switch now!

Step 4: Breathe in and out, now you are in a safe and happy place. Create a special image in your mind of how your own very special happy place looks and feels like. There is tons of light around you, your body feels lighter and you are now excited about the rest of your day.

  • If the thought or emotion is really heavy or scary, flip the switch as soon as possible and go straight to Step 4. I’ve included a little video here to help you visualize the process.


Voila! It’s that simple.
